Pretty awesome destroying a $1375 emissions component without having fixed the problem. Now you pollute much more than everyone else and still have a broken truck.

Not trying to start a fight, just make an observation. Good call repairing the fuel line rather than forking over the dollars for a new one, please let us know if this takes care of your issue.

I know it was a dumb move Tom but i was desperate for a fix ..i really need the truck 100% ..my truck is my livelyhood...and quite a few reputable agreed that was the problem... so i went for it...i figured it was pluged since the truck has so many miles...on a side note..i just ran a full can of seafoam when the fuel light came on...approx 5 gallons...and burned 4 gallons with it in and the truck is about 95% now..plus truck over 8500 gvwr dont get emmissions in my area...i dont see how it is much different then the diesel guys running no cats and blowing smoke all over the place...and mine doesnt smoke

Hrmmm...the Sea Foam lends credibility to the idea that you're on the right track with the fuel filter. Glad to hear you're back to 95%, hopefully this is a cheap fix!

Good question...have you had the truck scanned with a capable scan tool?
