I've have encountered a problem with my old truck. Today as i was going to town I noticed when i come to a stop the truck seems to idle a little rough, Then after a trip onto the highway I've noticed, that while cruising at 55 she had surges in power and didn't stay at a consistent speed. Getting up to speed was no problem. Plenty of power. Took her back home and revved her up a little and when she idled back down she died. Had a hard time starting her back up.

The truck has no smoke unless revved hard or on cold start ups in the morning. I didn't see any fuel dripping from the tail pipe either. Any ides what this could be? Possibly an air leak somewhere?
Truck has 146000 miles.

 

Went back outside to see if she would fire up and no go. Crack two injectors and noticed they had little no no fuel coming out. Im at a loss.

 

I assume that you have adequate fuel in both tanks. It could be just about anything, clogged fuel filter, air intrusion, defective transfer pump, or tank selector valve. Have someone try to start the engine while you press the schrader valve on the fuel filter. You should get fuel flow from it.
