I got a 2000 f-150. today I started getting a low beeping noise coming from under the dash. it will beep or sound a few times then stop, then start again. any ideal what warning this is for? and there is no check engine light either.

 

It has nothing to do with the check engine light.

Most likely, your airbag light in the cluster is burned out and you now have an airbag system fault. 5 x 5 beep pattern. See owner's manual.

 

o ok. after the 5th time it will stop though. and I guess that's every time I turn the tuck on?

 

At least until you replace the bulb in the cluster (which will then flash out its own warning code).
