Building a 'vintage' canopy

Some of you might be interested in a thread I recently posted on the 57-60 group. Just a few ideas thrown out for a vintage look. It's called 'vintage' canopy. It would be relevent to this group as well......

Looks great! You always do a nice job making your modifications look right.
Thanks for posting pictures.

I have been wanting to build a canopy for my f600 that will look like its always been there. Its an 11ft bed that's only 5' 3" wide so I'm looking for used materials like the panels you found to get me motivated to start the project.

Sorry, these aluminum panels were 12', and I cut them to 9'.... I have enjoyed yours as well! Very nice photo

i'm reverting to a canvas cover for my '83' ranger. to see how it looks before deciding what i'll do for the old truck…
what i remember, it used a contractor's rack (without the over cab section).
think of a army truck cover, or a covered wagon..
the one i remember, didn't have the hoops along the top…
