Fuel Vapor Valve – anyone know how to remove
I'm really stumped - any advice would be greatly appreciated

I have a 2001 F250 V10 with the 31 gallon mid mount fuel tank
I was experiencing a fuel leak on sharp inclines and for short periods after fill-ups. After dropping the fuel tank it was fairly easy to determine the leak was coming from the rear fuel vapor valve. I ordered new ones from Ford, but have been unable to determine how the thing comes out and the new one goes in; no luck with the aftermarket manuals I have or searching here.
Here is a picture of the valve on the top back of the tank; you can clearly see the crack under the arm that attaches to the hose to the front of the truck.
you can also see the marks from the lock pliers in my unsuccessful attempt to move the thing - I'm getting nothing, no movement at all. I also tried getting a utility knife blade between the tank and the valve with no luck - it is almost like they are welded together.
Here is a picture of the tank - back of the tank (and the valve I'm trying to get out) is on the left. Similar valve (their hoses actually connect in a 'y') is also see on the front of the tank, or right of the picture.

Thanks LxMan1 - that seems to be the consensus so I epoxied a solution in place - we'll see how long it holds.
Here's the link to the final solution - https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...l#post13379388
