rear fenders

He is lucky to have an F1 instead of an F2/3. More choices available. At any given time there are some decent used fenders selling on E-Bay if he wishes to check there.
Have him be careful to watch the style design of the fender near the wheel opening, so that he doesn't mistakenly get a '53-'56 set like I did. The folks selling them may not know the actual years they fit. He can look closely at pictures of restored trucks and notice the difference in styles before he buys some.

I see them on CL around here at times.
Another thing to watch is the fender profile where it meets the bed. The 48-early50 had a step in the mounting surface to match the raised panel in the bed. The 51-52 (and possibly late 50) had a completely smooth bed so the fender mounting surface is flat.

Cory1848, just had a thread posted on7/21/213 at 5:50 pm, about a guy with many, many parts for sale. Cory was trying to find what parts are needed by fellow members so he could aid in getting them or prices, or what not. You could look up the thread on that date or go to corys specs and click on all threads by cory and find it that way.Good luck.
