Front Wheel Brake Fluid Leak

Front Wheel Brake Fluid Leak
First of all, I know less than anyone on this site so bear with me when it comes to lingo and parts identification.
I have a 2008 f-250 6.4 Diesel. Yesterday the Brake Fluid light came on. I thought maybe a sensor, but once I parked and checked I realized my brake fluid was down to the Min line. I started looking for a leak and it was apparent that it was the front drivers wheel area.
I am attaching a picture of the brake. The leak is either coming from the area where the fluid line runs into the gold thing (caliper?) or the bolt at the bottom of the gold thing.
I hope the pic helps and thanks for any advice any of you may have.

The gold thing is the caliper. Hard to say where the leak is at for sure because it is all drenched in fluid.
My best advice in this case since you have never dealt with brakes is to have a professional or someone you trust walk you through it.
Doing a brake job is not a real difficult process though.
I would start myself by pulling the wheel and cleaning the caliper up. Checking the bolt on top to make sure the incoming line is tight.
Check all incoming lines to the caliper as far back as you can go to ensure there are no over areas that could be leaking.
The leak could be and most likely is the part you cannot see in the pic. The piston area. The pistons push as against the pads to squeeze the rotor to stop the truck.
the caliper will have to be removed for that.
