2.5 Gallons of DEF For Sale!!

Also available: 1 slightly used DPF, EGR Cooler, factory intake, and 26 gallon factory fuel tank.

Busy weekend - I've been running the H&S MiniMaxx unlocked for about 3 months with DPF on tuning and decided to get to it this weekend before hauling the 5th wheel 4,000 miles in August (not going to lose a NOX sensor this year - don't have one of those anymore!!)

Installed: Titan 50 Gal. fuel tank, 4" FloPro Dual exhaust with a 23" straight through perforated muffler (nice sound - not too loud), H&S EGR Delete and S&B Intake. Started Saturday morning and finished Sunday night at 9PM (with several breaks of course).

Only a couple of things took as little time as I expected and that was installing the new exhaust and the intake, everything else took longer, but not totally surprising since I have 138,000 km on my truck now. Fuel tank was a pain to get the fuel lines disconnected, DPF was a bugger to get all of the connections off before dropping it, and the EGR, well that's another story. Let's just say if I tried to video tape the removal like Epic Cowlick, there wouldn't have been any sound due to editing.

Good news is, I am now pretty much an expert on all of the above so can provide some good tips to anyone trying to do these modifications - and no leaks!! And they can all be done by yourself with the right tools.

Runs great. Nice and quiet until you put your foot in it and then she rumbles. Also had new tires put on this morning. Will post some pics later.

No more regens, no more DEF - gotta love it!!

Fuel tanks don't compare in size at all. New exhaust was a breeze to install once the DPF was out - great design on the kit by FloPro and I cut the 23" muffler into the straight piped section as my choice to keep it a little less noisy and put 5" Chrome tips on the back. Hardly blows any black whatsoever with the H&S tune - even on Performance setting. New tires this morning - Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx LT 275/70R18 (They don't even have a 20" option for these new S/T Maxx yet). Looks much cleaner under the hood now with EGR gone and the new S&B Intake.

Need a tuner with "offroad" capabilities, or the truck won't run if you take the stock system off.

Did you do the full EGR cooler delete or just block off plates? I just did block off plates but maybe I should pull the whole chunk off?

I wish the DTE estimate would show more than 999... I already get that on a full fillup with the stock tank but imagine with a 250L Titan tank!

I've put in about 4 titan tanks for my friends' trucks. Only challenge I ran into was I ended up reusing the stock gasket for the fuel lift pump/tank level transmitter thing instead of the one that was provided because that one didn't fit properly (too thin compared to OEM). Did you encounter anything like that?

I used the supplied gasket (O-ring) from Titan and didn't use the OEM green one again. It sealed perfectly.

Under hood pics to follow.

Under the hood pics - should have dusted things off a little (and I know I am getting close to needing new batteries - I hate corrosion on the straps). Big hole on the side where the EGR cooler used to be!!
