49 Flywheel Help!!!

I split the engine and transmission on my 49 F1 today, and noticed that someone had welded a ring gear on the flywheel, and it is not even straight. I found a local auto parts store (orileys auto parts) and they had one in stock. When I brought it home, I noticed a couple of differences. The first was that there were many holes that are threaded for the pressure plate. Upon research, I learned that this flywheel is made for either a 11" clutch or a 10" clutch. However, the hole for the pilot bearing is slightly larger on the new clutch, and it has 164 teeth. The old one has 112. Am I missing something?? Do they have the wrong part numbers? Can I use 164 teeth? Should I return the part?? It seems like it is half right, half wrong. Please help! Any advice would be great. This is not a project I want to do twice!

164 teeth sounds like something for a modern engine, not a flattie. And it would be highly unusual for an O'Reilly's to have flathead flywheels in stock, as it's not going to be a fast moving part. Are you sure you have the right part in the first place?

Flywheel

I found that the Oriley's part number was for a more modern performance crank. It is the correct part number, so long as you upgrade the crank to the performance crank. I informed them of the stipulation, and they submitted a ticket to change the part description at their corporate office. I was able to find a used flywheel on ebay. It is in really great shape, but will still have to be resurfaced. Thanks for the help!

What would you assume...considering the incorrect 164T ring gear?
What engine does your truck have? Original flathead or swapped in 289 or 302 w/a M/T that came with: C5AZ-6384-D .. 164T Ring Gear?

As original ~ Left: Flywheel & Ring Gear (6375) / Right: Ring Gear Only (6384).
