Really!!!! No one has any experience with 16x10 tire fitment?????

 

thats a wide rim i wouldnt put nothing less a 12.5 inch wide tire on it

From reading your posts, I appears that you have a 2004 Super Duty with the 6.8L V10 engine. I assume that it is 4X4, so please confirm.

Most people select a tire size to meet their expectations (height and width), then they select the wheel size. In short, the wheels support the tires. For example, my plans were to run 40X13.5R18 tires on 18"X10" wheels. Most tire manufacturers have recommended wheel widths as part of the tire specifications.

Toyo Tires only makes two tires (Open Country M/T) that are approved for the 16"X10" wheel. The 16"X10" wheels are TOO WIDE for the other 16" tires. They are:

LT315/75R16 (35X12.50R16) Approved Rim Width Range: 8.0-8.5-10.0
LT385/70R16 (38X14.50R16) Approved Rim Width Range: 10.0-11.0-12.0

I don't know if you are just researching or have already purchased the 16"X10" wheels, but you need to consider the "overall plan" for your Super Duty to include any future lift kits, towing requirements, off-roading desires, etc.

ALSO, YOU NEED TO CONSIDER THE BACK SPACING OF THE WHEELS FOR YOUR APPLICATION... YOU NEED APPROXIMATELY 4.5" OF BACK SPACING.
