Hpop help! On side of the road!!
I blew out the rear hpop hose and fitting from my hpop. Stripped the threads right out of the hpop! What can I do? Any way to fix besides replacing whole hpop?
Sitting on the side of the road right now
Oh and that regulator spring or whatever that's inside of this is long gone

I've heard of guys stripping the fittings but I'm unsure of the outcome of there situation. Maybe someone else who knows more about that situation will chime in. Sorry about your luck my HPO lines went out awhile back and left me stranded. Then yesterday the timing belt in my Jetta decided we weren't gonna make it to work.

Are you checking with the aftermarket guys too? Might have to wait until tomorrow but here are three:
SRP 1.1 Stealth Industries LLC. Stealth Pumps
T500 Terminator Engineering Store

You can probably get one in to your local parts stores pretty quick, but it will cost a pretty penny. Since no one can ship overnight today, the soonest you're going to get an aftermarket one is Tuesday morning. Might be the same at the parts stores too.
The little spring check valve in there isn't important, but that fitting has to hold 3,000 psi of pressure, so tapping to a larger size or installing a thread restore fitting is questionable. Also, if you did drill it and put something else in, you'd have to be 100% sure you got all of the shavings out so they don't end up in your fuel injectors.

Alright, that was harder than it was supposed to be. The HPOP had been worked on before and the passenger side bolt was seized on and the head was completely rounded off. I had a right angle drill but had to take off the spider and ic pipes cause it wouldn't fit. Drilled as far into the bolt head as I could. Then came in from the side of the bolt head and drilled down. Took a chisel to the head and it finally popped off and I could take out the HPOP. The bolt then quickly unbolted from the cover. On observation, the bolt was kinked right in the middle making it impossible to unbolt.
Now I found an alternate vehicle for the trip on Tuesday so as long as there is a HPOP waiting for me at home on Saturday then that works. Guess I will call around tomorrow, with the threads blowing out of the HPOP, I don't think I will be getting a core charge refund.
I would like to get the T500 if I can find one in stock somewhere. I would go with RiffRaff but his site says a couple weeks turnaround and I can't offer the core. Maybe terminator engineering site itself, guess I just need to call.
Thanks everyone for their help! Sounds stupid but having people reply to the thread helped keep me plugging away
