Well, it's more of a hemp rope. :))_~
I was also maybe considering bringing my front seat out of my F250. The latches that raise the seat backs on both sides no longer work. I have heard tale of a cable in there that either breaks or comes off. I am sure we can cobble something together from the little hardware store down the street to fix it. I was definitely going to bring the carb. I am sure there is some interest from our members on how to rebuild them. The powder coating idea sounded great too. We will just have to see what kind of projects show up. I know we need to do some ball joints. I plan on going by James' house to get a refresher on the TTB before the meet. If nobody comes up with a ball joint press between now and then I may borrow his, but that would be a pain the rear b/c his is all over the place in his garage.
Jason's dad is a very talented machinist. He has run the tool manufacturing division at certain places like Nordam and maybe Spirit. Jason was given a socket tool made by his dad that takes off the jam nuts on the TTB to get the hubs off. He was thinking about bringing and maybe giving it to someone that is in need of one. I don't know this for sure , but I heard rumor of it.

I just sent a request to join the chapter so maybe if its accepted, I'll make it to this event. I really enjoy wrenching and meeting others. I used to be a chapter director on another forum (that I have abandoned) and used to host G2Gs all the time at my shop.
Usually consited of a smoker full of animal parts, cold beer was optional and a good time was mandatory.
