Unhappy Donor vehicle

I have questions..I've asked questions about donor vehicles for front suspensions for a 54 PU and recieved some GOOOOD advice which I will be following if this question receives not so favorable responces:

Parts for the suspension ie, control arms, spendles etc. can be
salvaged from around 74 -77 mustangs, from what I have been told. I know someone that is parting out an 80's mustang and was wondering if those parts would work or not?

Only mustang II parts can be used and they changed front suspension on the 78+ mustangs to a different design so the parts will not work if your going for a mustang II front end. I think pinto's can be used but I'm not sure. If any of this is wrong let me know. Hope this helps, -4speed
