Thinking Of Selling NBS and Getting OBS

If you're worried about the TTB, get an F-350. The F-350 has a Dana 60 solid front. That is assuming you're talking about 4x4's. The 2wd twin I beams are very reliable if you know how to work on them or have a shop that knows how to align them correctly.

I prefer the obs for style but the nbs does have some nice creature comforts. I went 6.0l to obs 7.3 and the only thing I really miss is the mirrors and speed. Someday the 7.3 will be faster though.
I had considered selling my 6.0 back when it was worth 15k, getting an obs and having money to spend. Didnt and now I have a 6.0 worth maybe 9k...
I say get what you want!

I say OBS all the way! Other then the cool body style, they are becoming quite the collectors truck, and have a lot of appeal to many folks! I couldn't see ever letting go of mine! Now that whole "6-speed" transmission aspect of the SD, I like those more, so thats what I am stuffing in my OBS right now, LOL! Then I have the best of both worlds! LOL!

I am a fan of the OBS lol. I do like the 03-07 body style the best, especially the Amarillo edition, but I wouldn't have a 6 liter gave to me. Or a V10. Or a 5.4 lol. Perfect Cummins swap candidates though if you have the moolah!
These PSDs can be got for cheap, upgraded for a decent price, and will outrun a NBS and still have less money in it.
Not to mention these trucks were pretty well liked by the conversion companies so you can still get a cheaper truck that is LOADED such as my Eclipse or a centurion
