I will post videos of Dyno run (tuning session) and track videos next week. Truck gets strapped to the rollers on the 25th and race day on the 26th. It's ran a 12.1 @ 111mph on a bone stock engine with only a set of headers and a 75 shot of nitrous. Truck is a all steel 1953 Mercury M250 mustang II front, 9" 4 link rear, stock 5R110W 5speed and V10 from a 2006 F350. It weights 4620lbs with me in it.

Dyno tune day was yesterday truck ran fine but boost wasn't on the agenda! The little M112 roush charger wasn't up to the challenge! I left the stock lower and upper pulley in place for a 5.4L that would make 8psi ... Well on the 6.8L it only made 2psi and only did that after 4000 rpm! We dialed it in with just 2psi and I'll get pulleys in the future to try and squeeze 4psi (if I'm lucky). At the end of the day it looks like I'm gonna have to go with a whip ole 2.3 or larger to feed the extra cubic inches but #'s were 350hp-350tq not exciting by no means but there's no real boost to margin even any extra output- engine load never exceeded 85% whereas if there was any substantial boost it would be over 100%! A good learning experience and with some pulleys should put that # easly over 400 which would equal 500 crank HP! Not bad for low boost, pump gas, 415 ci engine. Another note for v-10 owners .... These things love timing! You can also turn them 6000rpm all day small valves and overhead cams elemiates valve float.
