My "new" 1997 F-350 CC Dually! Whoot!!

So, I figured it right to start a new thread here. Thanks guys for the input on the search help. This forum is great and full of guys with some good knowledge!! Here is the breakdown:

1997 F-350 CC, 178k miles
Straight exhaust, No CAT
4" Downpipe
B&W GN Hitch
New Injectors
New brakes all around
New Tires all around (Hankook)
Extremely Clean

I got it for $7500 and can't believe how well the PO took care of this truck. It has a ton of receipts from service and the work done, though it was minimal. it even smells clean.

I picked it up in L.A. and drove the 2 hours home to Oceanside. It drives super straight, has incredible power, and is pretty comfy for a 1 ton.

I'll get more photos to the album tomorrow when it is daylight. I consider myself pretty blessed. I can now tow my RV again!!

That will definitely be part of the problem. LOL I don't know anyone here who would try to spend someone elses money though.

Some more photos added for those who want to see

Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums - BBslider001's Album: New 1997 F-350 CC Dually

The very first thing I noticed is that the dash bezel is needing to be replaced, as in all of the screw tabs are busted to the PO. I guess I'll start looking on Ebay. Other than that, just some general cleaning of some things is needed from what I noticed this morning.

Sweet truck. I have a friend who drove one like it for work in LA. He said, "I'd just turn on my signal to change lanes, count to three and move over, everyone always seemed to make space for me!"
Welcome to the forum.

FYI, it doesn't have a 4" downpipe unless somebody built one hell of a tunnel in the firewall to fit it. lol. All our aftermarket downpipes are 3". Tymar has some that go to 3.5" and to 4" once they are past the firewall, but they all start out at 3".

I didn't say you NEED them. I said they would be better than the T500. LOL
