IDM

Hey is there a way to check the IDM on a 97 powerstroke? The problem im having is no power. it shows p0344 p1280 p0562 it will barely pull off but like after 15mph it'd pick speed up. and I've replaced crank sensor with a oem ford, injector o-rings,hpop, lift pump? Any ideas?

Is there any exhaust restrictions ? Like do you still have the stock ( Flattened) Downpipe and the CAT ? Also is the Fuel Filter OK ? What is your Fuel Pressure ?

When you changed the hpop, did you change the ipr too? Just asking. I'd be looking at the wiring real close for the cps, icp, and ipr, especially if those codes still show up after your work. 562 code I can't find any info on, are you sure that is the right number?

I actually took the hpop off another truck i have thats wrecked but bought new gasket. the truck still ran great before i pulled. so i keep the ipr on it instead of swapping.

ive recently found this on here before!

Read Welcome to guzzle's Diagnostic Trouble Code list Web Page for more clarification.

Looks like an overcrank condition, low system voltage and low ICP pressure. I would load test your batts first (separately and cables disconnected) and charge the system before anything else. Have you unplugged the ICP and looked for oil in the connector ?

Do you have any way to test your fuel pressure under load to make sure its not falling off? Like a hose and gauge hooked up and taped to the windshield? Maybe a partial blockage somewhere?

That 344 is a cam sensor code. Did these codes appear after your work or have they been there? That's why I suggested looking at the wiring.

yea i just bought fuel pressure gauge. but the 344 been on for a lil bit before it got this sluggish. so i replaced it with a new ford one and code was gone for 1-2 days then came back with a 603 i cleared codes and went 1 day with out any then 344 back with 562 and 1280? ive cleared them out and 344 will appear sooner than other 2 ?
