Hard hesitation

My truck runs fine when driving it normally but if I really put my foot in the pedal and get to 2800 rpm I get a real hard jerking like the engine isnt running right almost like its missing I originally thought it was the engine not getting enough fuel because my efuel was set at 62 psi so I bumped it up to 70 and I'm having the same problem can anyone shed some light on the issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Any way to check fuel pressure under load? With e-fuel if the filters plug you can get good pressure at idle but not under engine demand.

Can I do that with a scanner? I don't have a way to look at the gauge while I'm driving the truck.

Nope, but you could check your fuel filters or just replace them.

You'll have to make up a gauge with a 4-5' hose so it'll reach to the cab so you can see it
