My Excursion Remodel

I have heard nothing but good stories about the wilson products.
For a mount I use this;
Amazon.com: Breffo Spiderpodium Stand for iPhone, iPod, Cellphone, and Much More - White: Cell Phones & Accessories
I have it folded so the phone fits in the cupholder at the perfect angle and won't move at all.

Here you go buddy!
This is the way it looked after CaryT got ahold of me and we did everything except bigger wheels and tires. It looks so anemic! We installed the V & B springs mod, Bilstein shocks, adjustable track bar, f350 sway bar, and more...
I picked out some BMF Novokane Wheels on Toyo A/T 325-50-22 (That stick on weight was for a joke, but nobody got upset or laughed or noticed...sigh!)
Had em installed at Discount Tire:
This is after suspension and wheels:
I did my own custom paint job on a 2008 rear diff cover:
Now it looks like:
I wanted these gone and something more personal:
So I had my body shop friends take em off and clean that area up:
Went to billetbadges.com and had these made:
Put them on:
This is a fuel efficient vehicle...RIGHT?
Then we tinted the tail lights and the third brake light, but added a RECON line of fire light bar:
Most recent pics of a dirty truck:
I Hope that's enough! I'm tired of showing pics...I wanna see more stereo upgrades!!!!
See you soon with more!

When I first did the suspension changeover, it was more harsh because I was still running on the factory wheels and tires. They are severely outmatched for this weight and width of truck. The truck felt tippy and rode harsh.
Although my wheel and tire setup is heavier, the ride actually feels softer and more compliant around town but firmer in the corners as there is a bit less sidewall flex. The big Toyo Open Country A/T's find their way into various grooves in the roadway, but they don't chase the grooves...they seem to only get "Distracted" by them. There is no bounce in my setup and it is nice on smooth pavement. I live in Florida, the roads are pretty good here and so the road noise is pretty tame.
BTW: I'm running 325-50-22 tires and 22x10.5 Wheels nearly a 35" tire setup.

Interested in getting your impressions on the noise levels after the sound dreading is completed. By the way my second skin damplifier pro didn't stick in the doors. I just pulled it out. I only got the doors and front part of the cab done so fare. Nice job and beautiful rig!
P.S: damplifyer pro stuck fine till the MO heat got to it. =0)

ATC210: I've found that if there is ANY residue on the interior parts you are trying to stick ANY form of deadening, it will come off! Many people will rub the parts down with Acetone or alcohol or other prep solutions to clean and degrease VERY well. I have used many different sound deadening products and the newer products that have been released have an amazing amount of stick compared to old-school asphalt based "shingle-mat" out there. I've had no problem with Second Skin and haven't heard many that had a delaminating problem...I'll keep you updated!
It's actually the factory grill for the 2005 limited. I only changed the oval badge with one I designed with Billetbadges.com Steve Smart is kinda slow but well worth it!
Thanks Alex and LivingLarge btw!
OH! I'm going to go get more pictures and info Thur! Be on the lookout for an update then!
