Thx doc. I might try Turing it around like you said. That'll put the bolt a little further forward.

Can't you just slide the whole thing back a little so it has clearance? Then just add on the the rod?

Yeah I think that would work too. Just make the mounting tab a little longer. I should have left the booster on when mocking up the bars. Oh well, learned my lesson

Seems like would be a lot easier and make more sense to just make a new crossmember, a couple hours work and a little steel to not have to spend weeks and hundreds of dollars to work around it, but then I'm a charter member of the K.I.S.S. principle club.
