Flatbed Ed is starting off with a positive reputation.
$$$$ for a tune up!

Called Ford just to see how much a tune up costs nowadays.
I don't need one yet but WILL someday. Anyway they told me $650 Holy smokes! Think I'll try to do it myself. Anybody tune theirs yet? This seems WAY overpriced.

ccstp is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
With these modern engines, a "tune up" is a pretty antiquated term. What exactly did their tune up include?

I priced plugs the other day from Rock Auto and they were around $6 each, so 16 plugs would be $96. Ford would charge about 2X for the plugs so that would mean they would charge around $28 a plug to change them out, sounds about normal for a dealership. I took a look the other day and I don't think it would be that bad.
