What is the one rare part you wished you had?
I would post pic's, I am not sure how to do that here. I have windshield washer bottle and pump from a 55 F-100, I have only seen 1, the 1 I have. <Which I bought from a guy in the NW, off the internet,>anyone one else have any odd or strange options? that are not normal.

There was a post a while back about the factory and dealer supplied options, and someone posted a scan of the catalog page(s) from back in the day. I think it was decided that the fire extinguisher was likely the rarest option to find. My 56 hood has the washer nozzles, but not the bag or pump. The bag was literally a soft plastic bag that hung on the inside fender or firewall and it used a rubber squeeze bulb type "pump" inside the cab you pressed with your foot.

Hmmm, a bag? I have a glass jar.
Anyway, I grandpa bought this truck from the original owner in 1956, oops it is a '54 223 6 3 on the tree, Heater.. that's it. So about 8 or 9 years ago I started looking for option parts to do a "up graded" restore on the truck. So I started searching in Internet and swap meets for different parts. I found a few, like the SS wing windows, electric wipers. I have a cigar lighter, cab lights and a custom cab grill in perfect shape. any fast forward, <with a="" slight="" story=""> I traded my '65 Mustang to my step dad for the truck..<long story=""> and the driver door always, "popped" when you opened it. I pulled the truck about 1/2 apart and found out the frame had a curve, and had the cab in a bind. So I talked to my Grandma, she told me Grandpa bought the truck, and had it fixed, and the door always popped. The owner was in Pampa Texas, at a T intersection, didn't see the oilfield truck..and pulled out.. POW on the passenger side front. that fender still shows sign of repair to this day. Anyway..at 17, when I lived at home, I always got out on the passenger side, when I was late for curfew..Now.. fast forward, I was born in 1970, you do the math. LOLOLOL 2 kids later, my old truck is still sitting, it is one piece, and it is time to start. I am thinking really hard about the Crown Vic front end, I am trying to decide. Do I look for a frame? or do I try to get it straight? If memory isn't faulty 1953 to 1964 short bed frames are the same. at least the front end parts swap.</long></with>
