I am replacing my axle shaft on the driver's side front differential and was wondering if they have different splines or sizes between different geared differentials? Will any Super Duty axle shaft fit in any front differential for 99-04?

 

no the 99-02 trucks had a Dana50 front axle, it looks just like the Dana60 on the outside but when you open the cover and pull the axles its much smaller

 

a reason im proud to own my 2004 F350.... its got a REAL DANA60 axle
