temp gauge

Temp gauge not working in truck. went to water pump to find the sender unit. when to unplug it and the wire fell out of the rubber molded elbow that connects to sending unit. anyone know what size thread that is?? Looks to maybe be a #6-32?? Going to find a ring terminal to crimp on and bolt onto sending unit as a fix. Thanks strokers!
