Has anyone on here replaced their hydroboost? The reason I ask is that on my Excursion, the brake pedal doesn't feel as firm as before, I replaced the power steering pump since it was making noise, and that helped for awhile but now is not as firm. Fairly intermittent..
2002 PSD Excursion Limited 4x4, Mineral Grey. Hellwig Anti-Sway Bar. DC Power 185 Amp Alternator. MagnaFlo 4: Turbo Back, Aero Turbine 4040XL Muffler. Michelin LTX AT2, Rancho RS9000 XL, 6.0 tranny cooler
Usually when a hydro boost unit goes out the pedal will be hard as a rock, just like a vacuum booster. I would look at pads or hoses maybe. Air in the line will doe that as well. Bleed first me thinks.
