lug studs too short

87 F250 with semi float axle. I have a set of American Racing AR62 wheels you know the trick wheel all the holes and because they are about a half inch thick the lug studs seem way too short. According to what I have read the ar62 uses acorn style lug nuts so not like typical mag wheel lug nuts that go into the wheel. Just curious if anyone else has run into this and how did you remedy the issue? Because i dont like the fact that the hang half off the lug stud when they make contact with the wheel. Not enough threads holding nuts on.

I would still shop around. I am sure they can be had for less

By smoking deal, I meant I hope they have BRAND NEW tires on them
