Replaced them after 4 months and it acts like a 4x4 again. Running a 33-1250-20 Toyo open country MT now and LOVE them.
This was my experience with Dura Trac's too! Not to mention loud, couldn't keep them balanced, and they wore fast.
I too love my Toyo MT's, Now if they wear good.
Edit: I still have nightmares about camping, and watched 15 of my friend's drive right in with no problem's. Than my cousin went with his Dmax, and Brand new Dura Trac's, and got stuck. Well I was next up, I too got pulled. God, I hated them tires

weird up here in northern Iowa all the guys i know that are running the duratracks love em. buddy of mine has some load c i think on his half ton and currently had 25-28k miles and still over half tread. i like the idea of have a snow rated tire also. i have heard of a few guys also getting grate millage out of the cooper STT and the toyo MT which i have on my truck. the only thing i dont like about the mt is that its a mt. not much siping, which i think the duratrack would shine alot better in we snowy ice weather. gdbunn do you run in snow at all?

btw senix did you ever re dyno your truck from the first time

I live in northern PA, and my Dura Tracs were terrible in snow/ice. My Toyo's (a lot like the Cooper STT's) do very well. Wear is what I am worried about. I thought the Dura Trac's were the way to go, as all the utility companies/oil rig truck's here run them. I wonder if they ever thought about trying any other tire's?

I bought the dura tracs because they looked like they would do well. I assume others do the same. We get a LOT of snow, mud and ice up here in ND and I tried, and failed in all of it with them dam tires. Now there still sitting in my garage lol. I have the good year wrangler authority AT I think it is? That walmart sells, Looks like an MT, on a work truck my employees drive and there very good also!

I don't understand....mine do quite well in the UP of MI when trailering sleds on snowy roads. Maybe it's the different MY or body type. I'm sure I don't offroad a much as others, but I've done my fair share with a few friends and I'm the only one with the Duratracs and if I get hung up, so does everyone else in the same spot. My cousin with a F150 and stock size 18's Toyo MT's gets hung up a lot. Could be the driver as he's definitely not the shiniest marble in the bag.

I NEVER get snow, maybe once every 5 years. We live in Auburn, AL where it just stays HOT! I ride dirt roads a good bit and have 4 wheelers. I will not do any mud bogging in the truck, just your average playing time. We live on a farm so its in the pasture a good bit. These BFG's get stuck in wet grass! They have to go!

No leveling kit. Stock size! I think the reason is the 6K springs in the front It is gives it a level look. Snow package. Only way I get my trucks.

Here is another view of them.

having the heavy springs up front really levels the truck out for being stock, mine is the same way.
