Every second Saturday of the month Ronnie hosts a get together in San Jose in the Starbucks parking lot 1815 Hillsdale ave 95124 7am to 1030am
60 cars n trucks is a normal turn out. This event is promoted on the HAMB so there is a good turnout of traditional hot rods but all of us FTE'ers are more than welcome to join in.
I'll be there SAT July 13 2013 with my crusty old 56 f600 Hope to meet some more FTE members.

 

Sounds like a kool deal. Maybe I can swing up there one of these days. Will have to check it out. Maybe next weekend.

Dang, Reno. I'm rolling with the Shelby guys to Denbeste Motorsports this Sat. 75 Shelby's under one roof is hard to beat.

Will do. In the meantime here's a pic showing the posse that drove up there together 2 years ago when I went. I posted this on a Mustang forum and a V6 owner said the pic made him want to go throw rocks at his car, LOL. 90% of the Mustangs in the pic have at least 500 HP.

 

Wow, very impressive. My 200hp Bronco sinks away in shame...

Nice cars and trucks there Reno! Here's some pics of our trip. Funny, all these high performance Mustangs and we were paced by a Ford pickup truck!



Pretty cool seeing all these SHELBY Cobras on the wall! You pick one out, grab the forklift, lower it down, then grab an engine off the other shelf or have one built since Denbeste now owns the Carroll Shelby Engine Co.





Never saw a polished bronze Cobra before! Stripes are grained in.



This car is one bad *****! 850 HP 50th Anniversary Super Snake.



Aaaaand my current dream car. 2012 Shelby GT350 convertible in Kona Blue !

2 hour and 20 minute drive for me. Would have to leave at 5am to get there by 7:30
