F350 auxiliary fuel port question
Building a brush truck and have a new F350 supercab with a short bed takeoff. I understand that if we had bought a cab and chassis the fuel tank would have the aux. fuel port in it.
Well we wanted the short wheel base so we did a bed takeoff. Now I need to figure out how to supply fuel from the truck to the pump motor. Is there a way to change the lines on the tank to do this or maybe buy a new fuel pump with the aux port on it. Its a gas truck with the mid mount fuel tank.
any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

We went a different direction with our Brush Truck. We got a F350 XL, LB, CC, PSD, and the pump, water tank, and hose reel all fit in the long bed. The only problem I have with it is that the pump only has a two gallon tank so it runs out of gas pretty quick. I imagine if we had gotten a diesel pump we could have tapped into the trucks fuel and then all we would have to worry about is running out of water, we have a 250 gallon tank I think. Good luck with your project!
