In need of some NEW brakes
#16
It seems to have more pressure and volume.
At least it works for lifted trucks with big tires without making noise and puking its guts.
It is not a noisy, under powered, failure prone POS, like the C2.
So, are you looking for a pump, or the Hydroboost unit, or both?
Find the pump brackets from a van with the same engine as yours. (if you have somewhat stock dress)
The booster, pedal, pump and lines can come from a car or truck, I think.
I've even seen some threads where people use a '90's Astro/Safari van booster.
There's got to be hundreds of hydroboost conversion threads on this forum.
You seem to have made MANY mods to your truck.
I can't begin to say what will fit (and work) on a vehicle I've never seen.
In fact I have never done a Hydroboost conversion.
I have worked on and driven any number of vehicles equipped with it though.
It was just a suggestion, given that you complain about poor braking, want something belt driven, and have no vacuum.

I went to the pick a part today and they don't have any diesel motors to pull a hydroboost unit from.
I think the bigger problem is the bracket for the pump. With my blower, I have a large bracket that holds the PS pump, A/C compressor, and the blower. This bracket came from Vortech with the kit for the blower. I can't remove that and I don't want to cut it up as I can't get a replacement, if needed.
