Welcome to FTE! Your question is perfecly fine but there are some things you need to think about on something like this. What are you going to use the truck for? This should determine what type of 4WD you would want to use. What I mean is do you want the stock independent IFS that comes on the truck or do you want a full out straight axle swap. I don't know too much about the frames on these trucks so I am not sure if the 4wd suspension would swap in as easy as the Twin Traction Beam models swap between 2 wheel and 4 wheel drive. Some people would say just trade the truck but you have already said that you like it and why not do something different anyways. Besides, they don't make 4wd Harley F-150's anyways so it would be one of a kind. It would be a long and expensive swap. Straight axle swap would be the way to go. There may even be a kit to do this but I am sure it is not cheap.

Straight axle would be tough on a lowered truck like that. What do you need the 4wd for? Most people can get by with a LS in the rear diff if you're talking snowy weather.

Put an air locker in the rear end. That way when you get stuck you've got an ace in the hole to get yourself unstuck.
