I am looking at buying a 4" zone offroad lift kit. Like most 4" or 4.5" lifts, it does not include a drop pitman arm. I would like to add a 1" coil spacer to it for a total of 5 inches of lift and am wondering if this would be too far on the stock pitman arm? I don't want to have bump steer or anything like that, but I'm also on a tight budget and really dont want to buy a drop pitman arm unless it's necessary.
I had a 4.5" Rough Country on my 06 and it didn't come with a drop pitman arm and it still aligned well.
That's the other lift I'm looking at getting. Only problem with theirs is the angled blocks, I've heard those aren't supposed to be used on trucks with a 2 piece driveshaft
The problem is that my tires rub pretty bad with my 2.5" leveling kit. I'm running a 33x13.50 tire on a 20x12 rim and I'm afraid the 4" lift won't be enough. That's why I want to add the 1" spacer, but I'm thinking the extra half inch lift from the RC kit might be enough

I never had an issue with mine on driveline vibration. It was a good lift, I bought the same thing for my current truck. I thought it was pretty easy to install as well.
