July all topic
Greetings Nor-Cal FTE and friends.
Well, here it is July 1st, and time for a new thread. don't forget our get together at the State fair is this month, Saturday the 20th, and maybe Sunday the 21st if we get enough interested people. going to be another warm summer this year so stay hydrated, and keep the shiny side up when traveling.

I kicked off the summer by getting a new to me rescue dog. He's a Queensland Heeler and although he is a little small compared to dogs I've had in the past, he's a great dog. We'll just say he's "Extra Medium" sized! Smokie's his name. He's been asking about having other Ford trucks come by to visit!
Jim- Think long and hard about getting a Jag. My dad finally sold his 2000 S type after getting fed up with the cost of parts. Labor aside, the cost of parts is just absurd. The final straw was some A/C valve? that was $1200 for the part. It is just not in the same league as Fords in terms of repair costs.
Here's the new kid.

My Dash has a half mask like Smokie, and my Kada has a full mask.

Nice dogs there Stewart! My friend has a fully masked one. His name is.... Bandit! That one was my inspiration for "switching breeds" since I've always had a lab or lab mix like Daisy.
Smokie is a great little, ok I promised him I'd say he's "Extra Medium," heeler. Great disposition as expected. He latched right on to me and just a little tiny cry for five seconds when I put him out then he goes right to sleep on the porch. No scratching at the door!

Nice looking dogs.
Yeah, I have postponed the Jag purchase mainly due to the trouble I am currently having with the Bronco. However, I may just get a Thunderbird instead. There are two of them at the dealer by the Vets Plaza I moved from. One black the other white. The white one I have seen there before, and know right up front it needs a radio as there is a hole in the dash where it used to be. The black one I have not seen there before, so I will want to get a good look at it. I am sure I could buy both of them and have cash left over for what the Jag was going to cost me. I don't need both, but I could flip one and keep the other.

No thanks Joe, do you know how many Mustangs are stolen in Fresno? I think it is the #1 sought after car here besides the Honda Accord. Besides, i don't like that body style and I don't like convertibles. LOL.
Starter has been replaced in the Bronco, but it still wants to stay engaged so they are looking for the reason, they think it is the fender mounted solenoid which of course is brand new, as that is the one I bought at Pep Boys on Friday.
