Morning all. I've been hiding in the cool air conditioned shop. It's just beeeuuutiful in there. NO one to bug you and ask you to fix this an fix that. I am however, fixing the 1/2 ton cab still lots to do yet, but getting there. Gerry, I was talking to some guys that work out of the Brussels Co-op and they figure that the Atrizene used on the corn crops over the years has done in the bees. From what I understand you can no longer buy or use that stuff and when it comes to Round-up the average guy or farmer for that matter can't buy it either. The stuff that you get in TSC or other places is SOOOO watered down it isn't worth using. They also said that Atrizene leeches into and around the soil where you spray it so it takes years to disipate. That's why if you used that stuff on your corn, nothing else will grow until the residual chemical has gone from the soil. Apparently it KILLS all 'cept corn. Still hot hot hot here and we haven't had rain for weeks. Be glad when and if it cools down to. Yesterday it was 48C on the deck no breeze and even the birds were spreading their wings in the trees to cool off. Well you all play safe, try and stay cool and I'll talk to you all later.
