I talked to my wife about it and we are going to make it up there next year. So there will be at least one 2v 5.4 there.

 

I'd love to see how your 2000 5.4L manual 4x4 4.10 does out there Josh compared to the others. I know a buddy of mine had a 2005 5.4L F350 2wd standard 4.30s in his and he said it was gutless but I hear other people talk so great about them so I would like to see how one does with something like this.

I am really curious to see how it does too. I have two hills leaving my house that are pretty steep (23% and 18%) but are only about a 1/4 mile long. It has no problem pulling 10,000 lbs up them. I had a 97 7.3 with the exact same setup(gears, transmission, cab size, etc) and my 5.4 would pull the same trailer up the same hill 8 mph faster. It's not the best pulling engine on the road, but I like it better than anything that came in the obs trucks if comparing stock to stock(haven't owned a 5.8, but have had the 5.0, 7.3 and 7.5).
