Last Wednesday we threw in Stage 1 injectors from full force diesel. At the same time we also threw in RiffRaffs Billet Aluminum compressor wheel. My mechanic got excited and ended up polishing the inside of the compressor housing too! Needless to say, after I downloaded the new tunes from DP Tuner, I am very pleased. I was able to hit around 35 psi with the wastegate capped and ZERO surges! The only thing I don't care for is the "howling" sound it gets going 70 mph on a slight uphill grade. BUT, theres no other wheel out there that is quiet with this kind of performance.

And the first test drive. Got rid of the rest of the oil in this run!


And to top it off, I took 1st in a local truck pull, with the sled set up at 9000 lbs. 4- 7.3's,(two had the same setup, only a TS chip) 4 cummers and one dmax. Luckily I was last to pull because a cummins busted his 4wd, so I was able to quit without pushing it harder than I did. I ran in 4 low, drive, and on 100hp race. Came off the line slow and once I got the sled moving good, I pinned it. Once the counterweight was all the way forward, the egts went to 1500 and stayed so I backed off after 5 seconds. 358 ft. Beat 2nd place by 69ft!

 

That 6637 is your issue. I have the AIS and a 38R - no cab noise. One other member has the same setup as I do and he said he got a little whine in the cab before some more mods.

Congrats on the mods! That permagrin has sunk in now, eh?
