Air Conditioning

The AC in my F-150 Super crew Lariat 5.4 was just charged and works fine until the temp reaches ninety degrees, then it blows hot. Does anyone know what this could be?

Thanks

Fan clutch or blend door acutator. To test if fan clutch , idle the truck to see if it blows hot and put a fan infront of the ac condesnor (radioator) area and see if it blows cold. If not that then the blend door acutator may be the culprit. Those are most common on this truck. You did not state milage so if very high miles than could be clutch gap.

Thank you so much Krane Operator. I love this site and so thankful I found it. I have 4 issues with my truck and this place covers every one of them. I'm a true Ford fan and will stick with them but I wonder if Gmc or Chevy has issues like the Fords.

They all have issues. If they didn't, mechanics would be out of work
