Pro Comp dual inline steering stabilizer dana 60 kingpin

I bought this Pro Comp inline dual stabilizer from summit because the picture made it look like it would work very well on a kingpin front end....

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ex...350-super-duty

What I got was very different looking, and so it is going to require a bit of mending. I was only able to install on stabilizer on the drivers side, and I am going to have to get another tie rod stabilzer mount for the other one, and weld a different mount onto the axle, or the shock end (and I can't do the shock end if I want the to face in opposing directions). Anyways, I will post a few pictures up from my phone, let me know what you think, and if anyone has a link were I can get the bracket to mount that style of shock end to the tie rod bar would be wonderful (But I could went another end onto that end of the shock).

A picture of the truck, 88 XLT Lariat, that came from Roll-A-Long customs, got the camper top just to move, not sure how I feel about it yet.

I'm assuming the issue is the passenger side is supposed to mount to the 99-04 factory stabilizer mount? The style in the pic on summit is for an 05 up I believe. Now you can prolly get away with getting a stem to loop shock adaptor and mounting to the factory OBS stabilizer mount on passenger side. Is there any more parts hardware you are not showing or do they both bolt on the same center bolt?

There is a big spacer for the loop, then yes they both bolt onto a larger 6.5" bolt (I put a shorter one in for just one) But yes the other shock mounts to the factory point on the axle. But I don't think that is going to work on the OBS because these stabilizers are very long, If I mount it on the center bolt I think it might limit travel, not positive yet though, I need to either find the stem to loop adapter you mentioned or just weld on a set of tabs.

Not really. I have a ghetto fab push pull like in the link. Had death wobble at 27mph all the time. Now 99% gone. I know I need ram assist but its a inexpensive way to drive without it................

If your setup was RIGHT, a steering stabilizer is not needed. All they do is MASK the REAL problem. That is why you still have some issues
