2007 F150 jerky stop in forward
Today while driving 20 miles, I got off the interstate and it felt like the ABS went on and the ground was dry and flat. I continued a few feet and it kept feeling like it was pulsating while braking and at low speeds coming to a stop. When I go in reverse there is no problem braking but in Drive the brakes pulsate and at the slow speeds stop the vehicle abruptly like it locks up or I am slamming on the brakes and the tires skid. While driving at normal speeds there does not seem to be loss of power but can tell that when I brake at the higher speeds it does pulsate. I stopped removed the battery connection and took out all the abs fuses and then restarted and the abs light was on like it should be but still when I went to stop same results. My front rotors and and pads have been recently replaced and wonder if there is a way to totally turn off the abs without removing the sensors for a test or if there is another way to diagnose what is causing this. My truck is 2wd, basic xlt work series 4.6 liter. Only one fuse relay location that I know of on the passenger side floor (door side under the glove box). Thanks for any input.

How new are the brake rotors? They also can cause brake pedal pulsating.
