Pre-Stroke 2013 dyno results and Video
Hey guys
As you may know I dyno my truck once or twice a year durring the dyno days in Missoula and in Kalisepll.
Every year I usually change one thing or so for the hell of it.
The 2012 dyno run on Gomer's Mustang dyno pulled 207hp and 413 ft-lbs running with only the custom down pipe.
The 2013 dyno run the truck had the stacks. Be sure to watch the whole video, there's some good footage of a couple other trucks.

The inner cooler is going in soon. I have one and my neighbor lets me use his welding shop and his spool setup is awesome. So I can make the proper brackets.
A new double bearing turbo would be nice. But that means I would need a RD4 pump and head studs. You know, unless Racindrummond wants to build me a custom pump also a cam.
I have 2 pumps sitting arounds and 2 6.9 laying around to.
Right now it's either build the idi up slowly, or find my dream engine for this truck. A DT466 with Bosh pump with a 10speed behind it but no luck on that yet.
She's been a damn good truck tho

whats the details on the setup?
the intercooler is a must for you guys who really want to crank up the fuel.a stock pump isn't enough with one though.
i finally stopped being such a sissy and maxed out my fuel on my ip for my fmic.
she doesn't puff a smudge of smoke at all still and the last 1.5 flats she had in her really helps on the hills when loaded.pushed her back up to 8 psi.
i could use another flat or two's worth of fuel to get my 10 psi back and really scoot.
time to consider a warmed over ip i guess cus this stock one has run dry.
i did hit 1,000 on the pyro finally (fully loaded with wood and towing chipper up steep hill @ WOT) used to max at 800.
you guys and your power craves are bad on us FE conscious.
the power has won me over.it's nice to just do the same speed no matter the weight up just about any hill now.problem i have now is,that generally the roads are not in good enough condition around here to be able to go up the hills as fast as id like.kinda cool backing off simply for road condition, rather than because that's all she's got lol.
contagious.you guys are contagious.

Glad to see you have come over to the dark side haha. Looks like your setup is doing well with the extra fuel too.
And FordMan, now might be a good time to swap the turbo out anyway. It would save you the work of having to mod the intercooler piping later. Plus on top of that fuel can be upgraded later down the road. Upgraded turbos seem to run well even with stock fuel.

Stock pump just the 90cc one
That overfueled cummins makes about 500hp and 1400 ft-lbs, hes a diesel mechanic lol.
My setup: Factory garret waistgated turbo, nothing changed there. PSI Maxes at about 9.
Intake: Tractor intake tubing, rubber double walled 4". BHAF 10" diameter 16" long paper airfilter.
Exhaust: Custom fabed PSD downpipe 3", goes into 4" right after fire wall. Flows into rear 5x5 collector in truck bed. (5x5x0.5" weighs about 200lbs). into dual 6" semi tips.
Stock Pump: timing increased to 9@2,000RPM, fuel screw maxed and stripped.
HUGE aftermarket performance radiator.
The engine always stays cool un less towing a good size load, I.E. Tractors on 30ft flatbed, or pulling steep grades.
I can hit 1000 degrees unloaded, WOT 0-70.
I bought the truck from a 70 year old farmer and he took damn good care of this truck, only highway miles. With this setup running 212 hp and 429 ft-lbs of torque with 4:10's 20-22 mpg highway is pretty normal 18-19 in town.
When I first put the stacks on one tank dropped to about 17 mpg...no comment
This truck is both a daily driver and my hauler.

I actually like the mustang better, Its really sensitive to the tuning changes, and really easy to make gains tuning out the bad stuff...
With what FordmanMT has posted, it looks pretty damn accurate compared to what I have seen... You really need to get 17+ out of the 093 to get into the 230whp range.... Id say with what he has done, its pretty good for the amount of boost he is tossing down...
