Replacing colant tank

Ok I finially got around to fixing the coolant tank on the truck, as the one in there is 16 years+ in age and just flops around, so its time for it to go, so I know how to do the fix its not a big issue, what I want to know is can I reuse any fluids that get dumped out from pulling the coolant lines or should I just go with new and replace whats lost? i would like to just reuse the coolant if I can as I just reciently changed it (about 1k miles or so ago) and really don't want to spend more on it if I don't need to, also wiper fluid will be eplaced with water (its summer anyways), anyways just want to hear others thoughts as to what I should do before I goof up and contaminate the coolant....

If you can keep the coolant clean when removing it and especially because it is still fresh, go ahead and reuse it.

Just eyeball it to ensure that it is still looking good.

Vise-grip or use hose-clamping pliers on the hose running to the radiator neck, remove the hose from the radiator neck, remove the old tank and install the new tank, transfer the coolant over, then transfer the hose over.

A spring-type hose clamp? Needlenose, channel-locks, spring-clamp pliers, etc will all get the job done.
