Any news on the 2014 F650/F750s yet?

Would you consider 215HP/452 lb/ft down on power? I drive an Isuzu NQR every day and it's plenty for a box truck.
You don't need 400 horse and 700 lb/ft to push a 3/4 or 1 ton truck--you've just made yourself believe that because manufacturers and buyers have spun themselves into a frenzy over who has the largest appendage in the form of a truck.
jmo.....

Wow, that's interesting! GM talked to International back in 2007 about their medium duty business, but after a year of negotiations nothing became of it. However, since International will be loosing Ford's business when the Blue Diamond joint venture comes to an end, maybe they are talking again. A couple of ex-GM executives are running International now, maybe there's something to this.

Biggest appendage in the form of a truck...........HUH? Oh, I get it LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. You're too funny. As for the GM/International venture-that was what I heard about two months ago, then again, business ventures have a way of not working out. FoMoCo found this out. Supposedly GM was to get back into the medium duty market sometime in 2014. I wonder what their "appendages" will be rated at? Whose "appendages" will be offered: Isuzu, or Navistar? They don't need 400 horsepower and 700 lb.ft. of torque to move heavy loads, so they might save money on engineering costs. As we know, GM isn't laden with cash, so technology from 2006/2007 should be good enough.....I mean, why would power mean anything in a truck environment? My ego needs a boost, so give me lotsa horsepower & torque. Gee, I wonder if a F750 box truck can outrun a Mustang GT? Wait. No. Trucks need power to move big loads, to haul heavy loads. The more power you have, the more easily you can move/pull/carry heavy things. Simple. Will 215hp/425 lb.ft. of torque be enough? Sure. Just plan on it taking much longer, plus the added wear&tear on the vehicle. It's not about making me think I need all that power to do the job, it's more about physics, plus the ability to do more. The more power you have=bigger jobs done faster. Less power=bigger jobs done at a much slower pace(I'd suggest staying in the right lane, and putting your emergency flashers on....especially pulling a load uphill)

Can you elaborate?
