1970/78's have FT engines, 1979: 370/429 engines introduced. Engine related parts are not the same!
1973/79 Ford Heavy Truck Parts Catalog available on a CD from hipoparts.com. I've suggested you get this before, maybe I'll have to swing by and write you a "fix-it" ticket to force you to get a copy.

I'm pushing 69, have multiple health issues, so won't be around all that much longer. You can look up your own part numbers, then type 'em into PartsVoice.com and rearcounter.com to see if anyone has any.

FoMoCo didn't sell the cab mounts by themselves, only the upper/lower absorbers and hardware. Carpenter and etc sell repro cab mounts, bu I dunno if they'll work on F600's.

You didn't say what engine your '79 F600 has (is it a 300 I-6 or 370/429?). Let me know.

There are manuals.. there are internet searches...

but there is only ONE Bill.....

My trucks are all late 370 ci (the end of the end of the 79's when ford was throwing whatever they had left in them preparing for model changeover in 80. I thought the flat front motor mount would be easy to find as this configuration was used for many years thereafter... but so far my searches have not revealed any source... the cab mounts.. I have never been able to source cab mounts...

I have the shop manuals...and I bought the internet manual.... but got screwed on it as it requires you to do funky things to make it work

Carpenter and MAC .. LMC.. etc etc only sell the light duty cab mounts.. actually everyone has those... Ive always wondered if those would work.. and why ford made the c style mounts on the heavy duty trucks.. Im assuming because the cabs were subjected to more forces

Thank you Bill,,, when I talk to parts people today about my F series they just say.. those are antiques

Just like us

Update. I spent an hour reopening the full manual...
some of my problem is I dont know what ford called the part.. in the case of the engine mounts or motor mounts I think if Im reading the manual right they called them insulators.. the manual stops at 1978.... Im assuming for the changeover in the next year...
I came up with TFAA-6038A upper and 6039A lower.. that fit many models...

You came up with the wrong part numbers. The FT text section (60.2) "stops at 1978" .. but you don't have an FT engine! 370/429 text section (60.2A) follows the FT section.

370/429 introduced at the beginning of the 1979 model run which began September 1978 / FT engines cancelled at the end of the 1978 model run in August 1978.

1979/89 (probably later, didn't look) F600/880 370/429:

Betcha you didn't try a Ford Dealer for flat front mount (insulator), cuz if you had...

2) E1HZ-6038-A (replaced D9HZ-6038-A) .. Front Insulator (pic shows one, text lists two) / Available from Ford, Sacramento Ford parts depot has 47.

MSRP each: $52.03 // FTE Ford Dealer Parts Dept sponsor horizonpartsguy.com price each: $39.34 / Horizon Ford ~ Seattle (Tukwila) WA / If you call, ask for Wyatt.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2) D9HZ-6A061-A .. R/L Rear Lower Insulator / Obsolete

EAST BAY FORD TRUCK SALES in Oakland CA has 2 = 510-272-4444.

DON SANDERSON FORD in Glendale AZ has 2 = 623-842-8762.

GREEN SALES CO. in Cincinnati OH has 7 = 800-543-4959.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
2) D9HZ-6068-B (replaced D9HZ-6068-A) .. R/L Rear Upper Insulator / Obsolete

COUNTRY FORD TRUCKS in Ceres CA has 2 = 209-563-7370.

JIM BURKE FORD in Bakersfield CA has 2 = 661-328-3600.

DON SANDERSON FORD has 3.

EAST BAY FORD TRUCK SALES has 4.

btw: I was friends with LAPD/SMPD & CHP polizei when I was working. All have retired, most have moved to Paradise.

As a newbie here, but not to old trucks, I'll agree Bill is just awesome. He has forgotten more than I will ever know.
If I am here long enough can I be a friend of Bill?

I know this is a really old thread, but...

Will those part numbers work on a '69 F600 FT330MD?

They might or might not: But, see post 655 for the ones that will fit your truck:

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...ecodes-44.html

I will try to find more.

Edit:
More, more of the same with some other part numbers and sources. You can search those part numbers and sometimes you will find an Ebay seller listing them.
