Well we made some changes to our plans....and we went to Arthur.

Our first time, and I have to say, there were some AWESOME looking trucks there.

Looking forward to next year.

 

I agree Farmer, I was there last yr, the food is great eh!!

 

We must have missed the food vendors, didn't even get a wiff while we were there.

 

They usually smoke/cook some pigs, maybe that's just Saturday

 

I looked for your trailer but didn't see it. Is there more than 1 place to camp?

 

I didn't go this year, I would camp right there, not sure about other camping

We rolled into Elora bout midnight on Friday, the trucks ran great. Couple of drinks in our room and off to bed! We spent the day at the show on Saturday in the heat. The pig/corn roast was great! We left the show on Saturday at the same time as the poker run with the intention of a quick stop at the LCBO and back to the hotel. Well.....the poker run ended up following us to the LCBO!!! Everybody got back on track pretty quick and we ended up following the poker run to where they stopped for ice-cream. At the hotel we met up with Don, and his brother Steve. Also, George and his wife. We all had a tailgate party till well after midnight.
My head was a little sore Sunday morning.
Back at the show on Sunday, there was alot more trucks! We couldn't take the heat and pulled out around 1:30. We made it back home around 6:30. That's a long time riding in one of those old trucks!!! Hope everybody had a good time!

I met up with Rick (Red Ford Truck) and Jeff (truckfarmingcanuck), I'm sorry I missed the rest of you. I came a little later Sunday afternoon and stayed until the awards parade.
