free parts to a good home.

this has been tried in a few of the other forums with success, so why not try it here? rules are simple. if you have parts you don't need and want to offer them to someone else for free, post it up.
then once the parts are gone let me know so i can delete the post.

I'm not even sure what's all here at this point. Ill try to take inventory this week.

With the wife getting relocated for a year it's got everything messed up. She comes back in town that weekend and can't make the trip. So I don't know I I can still make it or not.

Tom, I'm a moderator on another truck club site. We have an area like this in our "Marketplace" section.

I'm guessing, based on this location, that the parts should be specific to our OBS trucks, correct?

I was cleaning the garage (again) the other day and found some parts for vehicles I no longer own. If anyone would like a list of those parts, send me a PM and provide the info. If items need to be shipped, buyer covers the shipping cost.

this is sorta for the 94-97 trucks, but since a lot of us have multiple vehicles i don't see a problem with posting other parts as long as it don't get out of hand.

we have the parts for sale classifieds down in the marketplace also.
but this is for free instead of for sale.
it also makes it easier for guys to find parts specific to their vehicles instead of searching all over the place.

That's kind of what I was alluding to, Tom. I've seen the "Marketplace" section, but there is no "Free Stuff" there like I've seen at other sites.

I was just wondering if this was going to be a specific-item thread or if maybe a "Free Stuff" thread would be added to the "Marketplace" forum, too.

No problem. This type of thread is a VERY popular thread on my local truck club's website. We're a smaller club, so for now, a "one-stop-shopping" location works for us. I like the idea of a vehicle/model-specific thread, too. It helps cut down on the searching time.

What's the difference between the two? How do I tell if I have an early- or late-style hpop?
