Grille Removal
Hello Everyone
Before I screw up can someone tell me if the grille on the 52 can out in a complete assembly or the 3 "teeth" have to come off first. I am having a hard time getting to the nuts holding them on. I was hoping the rad did not have to be removed but now wonder if that does. If I remove the headlights can I get access this way? If anyone has done it and has some helpful tips I appreciate it.
Thanks

The grille will come off without removing the teeth. Should be three bolts holding each side on and one in the center for the bracket. You will need to remove the park lights first, if they're on there. I took my headlights out first, but I'm not sure you have to. It would be lighter to handle without the headlights.

Look inside each fender toward the front. There'll be three bolt heads coming through the grille filler panel. Unbolt them from each side. Each tooth is bolted to the lower apron. Unbolt each tooth. There's also a top support that is attached to the hood latch panel and the grille. Once everything is unbolted, you can remove the grille as an assembly. The headlight buckets do not need to be removed unless you need access to remove a stubborn bolt. Should take you less than 20 minutes to remove the grille depending on the condition of the existing hardware.
