50 F1 wipers
I know there has been several threads addressing this but I have not seen what I need. At first I thought that I was missing a link, but now I see I am just not understanding what holds the pivot arm to the motor arm. I have included a picture of poor quality, but maybe someone who knows how it attaches can tell what I am missing.

Now that we know what you are asking about, I can offer a suggestion. I purchased a "complete" both side assembly from ebay. It came complete except for item 17562 so I made a suitable part.
I rummaged through one of my junk piles and found a radiator drain plug with part missing. A quick measurement indicated it would work to make the collar or spacer. Using a Dremel cut off wheel, I removed the valve part and then used the same tool I cut a section from the inner threaded part of the valve. A bit of precision work with the bench grinder, removed the threads and got the OD to where it fit tightly into the link. Next step involved the drill press and a drill bit to enlarge the ID of the collar to where it fit tightly onto the hex brass wiper arm swivel. A thin washer, spacer on each side of the newly made collar and all is installed. The collar is tight in the link and on the hex swivel of the wiper motor arm. The hex brass swivel moves on its short shaft as designed. I probably should have documented the procedure or at least had pictures of the product. Sorry 'bout that.

The drawing is from the 48-56 Parts CD, available for about $25 from 1948-56 Ford Truck Master Parts Catalog CD - HiPo Parts Garage
