guys asking 2800 im sure I could get him down from there but what do you guys think? it looks pretty good rust wise..

 

It doesn't look horrible. Just make sure the bed floor isn't rotted out, floors, cab mounts, etc. You know, the usual suspects. After that, make sure the engine is strong, ....doesn't smoke, etc. ...trans works properly. Be on the lookout for old body filler popping out of a seemingly straight panel. Just use your head. From just the one picture, it's hard to judge what it's really like. Good luck on the decision.

 

Probably a 351....350 are used in chebbies, lol

For that much $ your project should already be done. I would say a cheaper project could be found.

 

Like they've said - check floorboards and front cab mounts.
