I am wondering if anyone knows where to order a part for my 54 F250, it is a shield or panel directly in front of the battery under the floor, but is not part of the battery tray. I can't seem to find it listed anywhere, although I thought at one time I saw a battery shield listed. The one on my truck is bent and cracked about half way across, I could maybe have it welded, but if it is inexpensive would rather just replace it. Sound like anything familiar.

 

Actually the original setup had a shield in front of the battery and also one in front of the gas tank. They are available from Mid-50. When I redid my 54 F250 I actually used pieces of rubber mudflap attached with SS self-tapping screws. I hate having more metal to rust and the rubber does a fine job deflecting water and road debris. Hope that helps.

Ordered a shield from Mid Fifty yesterday, as they were only $22. This is I think the first time I ordered from Mid Fifty, how is their response time. LMC and Mac's always send out a email the next day, I have not received a response yet from Mid Fifty?
