Arrow '03-'04 Mirror Swap Question

Hey guys,
I've been searching for the "how to" info on the '97-'02 to '03-'04 signal mirror swap for 3 days! (it disappeared with the other site FTW) About 7 years ago I completed this swap on my '97 XLT, but now my '97 is long gone and I just recently picked up an 2000 XLT and bought a set of '04 signal mirrors, I can not remember how I did it!
Has anyone recently done this? Or does anyone know the wiring color codes for right, left, up, down, puddle light, heat, signals on the '03-'04 mirrors? Also, the colors for the '00 switch. Once I get that info, I do remember wiring the mirror signals directly to the corner lights.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I've attached the mirror wiring diagrams for 2000 and 2003, have a ball.

You didn't say that you had memory mirrors, so I posted the diagrams without memory.

To help you with the turn signal wiring I've attached the diagram you need. If you locate connector C206 as shown, both the left and right turn signal wires pass through it. This is a good place to tap into those circuits if they do not already run into the doors.

Thanks again for your help Alloro.
Here's a update for others wanting to swap their mirrors. On my 2000 xlt, I found it was already wired for the signals and heat even though my original mirrors were not equipped with heat or signals.

This is for the left side, but the right is the same.

light green/white stripe= Left Turn Signal/ Connect to LG/W-stripe on '04 mirror harness

Dark green/purple stripe= Heated Mirror Feed/ Connect to Dark green/purple stripe on '04 mirror harness

Black/pink stripe on the '04 mirror harness is for the Puddle light, I wired it to the Black/blue stripe wire going to the light at the bottom of the door.

I'm still trying to figure out the wires for movement. I only have 3 wires left on my original harness (Red=Left/Right Motor, Dark Blue=Up/Down Motor, and Yellow=Left Remote Mirror Solenoid Control) and 8 wires on the '04 mirror harness (Red,Blue,Yellow/Red,Blue/Yellow,Gray,Gray/Red,Brown/White, and Red/White)

So, right now they're mounted with working signals, heat, and puddle lights. I'll to work out the wires for movement next weekend.

I don't understand, everything is right there on the two wiring diagrams. Maybe you need the 2003 diagrams for the mirrors with memory control. I've attached the left and right diagrams, see if they make a difference.

Lol, Alloro I'm terrible with wiring diagrams. Although they were very helpful getting me as far as I got today. I just need to study them a bit more to figure out how the 8 wires are suppose to match up with the 3 I have left on my original harness.

Did you see the two new attachments to my last message? I edited the message and added them after, so I don't know if you responded before I posted them.

I don't think you need to connect to the wires for the 2 variable resistors, those tell the memory module the position of the mirrors. You should just need the 4 motor wires, with one from each motor going together on the yellow (common) wire.

Terminals 5 & 3 for the left mirror and terminals 5 & 4 for the right mirror appear to be the common wires that get spliced together.

I'm now giving thought to this swap myself on my 98. Looking around for mirrors in the junkyard to do the swap. I have signal and power - no heat or fold or anything like that.
